Calling all interested academic and non-academic undergraduate students and graduate students, the BRO-Ed scholarship program for the school year 2024-2025 has started accepting applications.
The BRO-Ed scholarship program is an initiative offered by the provincial government of Isabela brought to you by Governor Rodolfo T. Albano III and Vice Governor Faustino G. Dy III.
The BRO-Ed scholarship program is comprised of two available scholarships including academic and non-academic undergraduate studies and expanded graduate studies.
As for the BRO-Ed scholarship program for academic and non-academic undergraduate studies, the application has opened on August 20, 2024 and will be closed on September 7, 2024.
Meanwhile, the BRO-Ed scholarship program for graduate studies will start accepting submissions on September 9, 2024 and shall closed on September 14, 2024.
Both BRO-Ed scholarship program application requires the interested applicants to prepare the following necessary documents:
- accomplished BRO-Ed form;
- original copy of barangay certificate of indigency or DSWD 4Ps registration;
- original or authenticated copy of certificate of grades signed by registrar (for academic and non-academic undergraduate students);
- original or authenticated transcript of records or certificate of grades signed by the registrar (for expanded graduate students);
- photocopy of assessment or enrollment form; and
- photocopy of voter's ID or certificate.
For all interested applicants for BRO-Ed scholarship program, you must submit the documents listed above to the nearest BRO-Ed extension office in your place or school and get interviewed.
Upon qualifying for the BRO-Ed scholarship program, you will be entitled to the following privileges based on the type of scholarship program you applied for.
For BRO-Ed scholarship program for non-academic or regular scholarship for undergraduate students, you will receive a Php3,000 worth of assistance per semester while BRO-Ed scholarship program for academic scholarship for undergraduate students will receive Php5,000 worth of assistance per semester (with highest honors) and Php4,000 per semester (with high honors).
The amount that scholars will receive under BRO-Ed scholarship program will cover the students' stipend, travel, books, and etc.
On the other hand, the BRO-Ed scholarship program for expanded graduate students (master's), you will receive a Php5,000 worth of assistance per semester covering your stipend, travel, books, and etc.
For BRO-Ed scholarship program for doctorate, law, medicine, or religious and theological studies, you will receive Php10,000 worth of assistance per semester which will be allocated for stipend, travel, books, and etc.
