What is COMELEC’s Precinct Finder?
Precinct Finder is a website that was activated by Commission On Election (COMELEC) partnered with the Department of Information and Communications (DICT), which is intended for all registered voters.
It was made available public on Friday, April 22 which is supposedly scheduled on April 1 but DITC did not push through.

Through the use of Precinct Finder, registered voters can now easily access where exactly to go to cast their ballots on the upcoming May 2022 elections.
As per the agency’s website, the Precinct Finder “allows for easy upscaling or downscaling of ICT resources as and when required, to accommodate increased or changing demand or capacity”. Precinct Finder is under the DITC’s GovCloud infrastructure which assures that the sensitive voter data will not be stolen.
How to use COMELEC’s Precinct Finder?
It’s really a piece of cake and a several clicks away from any of your available devices! But ofcourse you will need an internet connection to access the website. Plus, during its initial activation, some users expressed dismay due to few technicalities, however, it was already fixed and somehow stable now. Below is a comprehensive guide on how to use the Precinct Finder.
Steps in using Precinct Finder:
Step 1: Access the Voter Precinct website.
Step 2: After gaining access, a disclaimer will appear on your screen in which by tapping Continue, you give the COMELEC a consent to process your personal information.
Step 3: You will have to provide the requested voter information and no fields shall be left empty. Simply click Local (Philippines) for registered voters in the Philippines.
Step 4: Fill up your complete name which includes your first name, middle name and last name.
Step 5: Choose where you registered as a voter specifically the province and city/municipality.
Step 6: Put a check on the Captcha.
Step 7: Tap Search to proceed. If you changed your mind, you can tap Clear to leave.
Step 8: A confirmation will show on your screen, just press Proceed or Edit if you want to do some changes.
Step 9: Tada! Your polling information such as polling place and precinct number is now indicated on your screen as well as your status below.
