Scholarship Highlights:
The program welcomes applications of research and development workers from the Department of Agriculture, State Universities and Colleges, as well as Local Government Units, who are interested in pursuing their 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 and 𝐃𝐨𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐲 degrees.
Application Deadline:
Deadline of applications is on 31 May 2024 (Friday).
Who can apply for the scholarship?
- Must be nominated by the Agency Head.
- Must be a permanent research and development worker of the DA, SUCs, and LGU, and must have rendered at least two (2) years of continuous satisfactory service in his/her agency or institution with a performance rating of very satisfactory for the last two rating periods.
- The course must be aligned with the core staffing plan of his/her institution and must be directly related to the technical requirements of his/her post.
- Must be 40 years old or below for an M.S. degree, and 45 years old or below for a Ph.D. degree.
What are the benefits under the scholarship?
- Monthly stipend of Php 28,000.00 for M.S. degree and Php 35,000.00 for Ph.D. degree.
- Matriculation and other school fees (actual assessment by the University);
- Reimbursable book, photocopying, and communication expenses of up to Php 10,000.00 per semester and up to P3,000.00 per midyear term up to the time of their formal courses;
- Thesis and Dissertation Support of up to Php 60,000.00 for M.S. and Php 80,000.00 for Ph.D., as approved by the adviser (supported with receipts);
- Graduation and binding fees (actual assessment by the University); and,
- Reimbursable economy round trip travel fare to and from the place of the official station for scholars studying outside their region (once throughout the scholarship).
