An exciting opportunity awaits researchers from the Pearl of the Orient Seas: Philippines, as the Land of the Morning Calm: Korea, have joined foces to successfuly open the PH-ROK Joint Science & Technology Research Program 2024.
The Department of Science and Technology (DOST), in partnership with the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT-Korea) and its National Research Foundation, have made this research program possible with a goal of fostering international research collaboration and exchange between the Philippines and Korea.
For the current year, both of these countries will be the ones to provide support for joint projects centered on nuclear science/applications and water security.
As per the announcement, each of the project will be conducted for three years and each project shall be funded with assistance worth USD96,000 or Php5,000,000 to support Filipino researchers.
For interested applicants, note that the research program shall obliged you to have at least one Korean partner-researcher from a scientifically/technically recognized institution in Korea.
These researchers must be experts in the relevant abovementioned research fields. Applications shall be allowed until May 10, 2024.
For all interested researchers/participants, you must first register and create an account before you can submit the proposal thru the DPMIS Portal.
