DOST-SEI Scholarship Exam Reviewers and Materials 2023 (Free Download)

The DOST-SEI Undergraduate S&T Scholarship Examination which is originally scheduled on March 11 and March 12, 2023 has been moved to March 18 and March 19, 2023.

According to Department of Science and Technology- Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI), the extension was made to give the aspiring scholars more time to prepare and study. Well, the priveleges are quite rewarding too that's why examiners need ample amount of time to be equipped.

If accepted, the scholarship will cover the grantee's allowance (P7,000 per month), tuition and other school fees (P40,000 per academic year), book allowance (P10,000/year), clothing allowance for 1st semester of first year only (P1,000), thesis allowance (P10,000), group health and accident insurance (premium), and transportation allowance for those studying outside of home province (1 economy-class roundtrip fare).

Also, if summer class will be required per curriculum, the scholarship will provide the scholar's summer allowance which include tuition and other school fees (P1,500), book allowance of P500 (to submit O.R.), monthly allowance (2 months), and graduation clothing allowance (P1,000).

As indicated in the DOST-SEI website, the test permit including the applicant's test center, test session, and other important exam-related details will be sent to the qualified applicant. This will be delivered between February 27 and March 3, 2023, to the applicant's registered email address.

Moreover, the examinee must show a valid vaccination card or a negative antigen test result obtained no more than 48 hours before to the examination.

Note that according to the agency, the conduct of the pen and paper exam may be canceled if and when the COVID 19 alert level is raised at or around the time of the exam, per an advisory from the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases. In this scenario, proper communication will be sent to the Applicant's registered email address.
