What is Data Science Scholarship Program?
The Data Science Scholarship Program is a FREE 14-week program aimed to help gritty, deserving women switch to a career in Data Science and technology, as such, it will empower them to embrace new possibilities and achieve their dreams.
Who may Apply for Data Science Scholarship Program?
FTW opens Data Science Scholarship Program for all the women out there who have the aptitude and attitude to learn Data Science.
There’s no minimum educational attainment required as long as applicants are willing to switch careers immediately upon completion of the program.
There’s also no specific work experience required. Although some knowledge of statistical analysis, Data Visualization and programming, are an advantage because participants will grasp the training faster, however, it is not compulsory by FTW.

What are the Application Process for Data Science Scholarship Program?
All applicants for Data Science Scholarship Program shall undergo four (4) stages which shall include:
Stage 1: Profile Information- 15 minutes
Stage 2: Technical Assessment- 60 minutes
Stage 3: Workshop
Stage 4: Interviews
What are the Timeline for Data Science Scholarship Program?
Below are the important key dates all applicants must remember:
- September 18, 2024- Opening of FTW Data Science Scholarship Program Batch 10 application
- October 9, 2024- Last day of application
- October 26, 2024- Interview and workshop
- October 30, 2024- Announcement of FTW Foundation Data Science Scholarship Program awardees
- November 16, 2024- Start of FTW Data Science Scholarship Program Batch 9 classes

What is the Training Schedule for Data Science Scholarship Program?
For 14 Saturdays, classes will be held from 9:00am to 6:00pm. 100% attendance is mandatory. Absences shall only be excused by providing medical justification/certification. One absence will result in a withdrawal of the scholarship. During the training for Data Science Scholarship Program, all of the 14 sessions will be conducted face-to-face at a location in Makati City.
What do Scholars for Data Science Scholarship Programs Get in Return?
Scholars will be taught by industry experts and practitioners in Data Science and analytics where training materials will be shared in the form of Google Slides and other software tools.
Hence, upon completion of Data Science Scholarship Program, scholars will receive a certificate of completion.
Scholars will have also have the chance to pursue a career in both the Data Science and tech fields such as Junior Data Scientist, Data Analyst, Data Engineer, and Business Intelligence Analyst.
