BJMP CALABARZON Recruitment - Be a Jail Officer 1

For the recruitment cycle and quota for 2025, the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Regional Office CALABARZON is hereby excited to announce that it is now looking for applicants who want to embody their mission and vision as Jail Officer 1.

Who may Apply for Jail Officer 1?

All interested applicants must at least possess the following general qualifications that were specified by BJMP which are bulleted below:

• a citizen of the Republic of the Philippines;
• a person of good moral character;
• must possess a baccalaureate degree from a recognized institution of learning;
• must possess appropriate eligibility (second Level eligibilities: CSE-Professional, RA 1080, Penology Officer Examination, PD 907 Honor Graduate eligibility and MARINA eligibility);
• must not have been convicted by final judgement of an offense or crime involving moral turpitude;
• must not have been dishonorably discharged or dismissed for a cause from previous employment;
• must not be less than twenty-one (21) nor more than thirty (30) years of age;
• must be at least 1.57m in height for male and 1.52m in height for female; and
• must be physically and mentally fit for rigid training.

What is the Salary Per Month for Jail Officer 1?

Applicants who will be hired as Jail Officer 1 wil take home a Php29,668 basic month salary or with a Php37,448 gross monthly salary.

What are the Necessary Documentary Requirements for Jail Officer 1?

Now that you know the general eligibility criteria in order to be considered as Jail Officer 1, you must now prepare the following necessary documents to proceed with your application:

• application letter addressed to: JCSUPT HILBERT M FLOR, MPSA + Regional Director of the Jail Bureau BJMP CALABARZON;
• computerized personal data sheet (revised 2017) (downloadable at CSC website);
• original MDF verified by PAG-IBIG;
• original MDR verified by PHILHEALTH;
• original TIN Verification from BIR;
• original transcript of records;
• original college diploma;
• original birth certificate issued by PSA;
• original certificate of eligibility or board rating & PRC ID;
• original valid clearances from permanent address (NBI, Police, barangay, MTC, RTC, & Prosecutor's);
• original PNP directorate for intelligence clearance;
• original valid community tax certificate;
• original certificates of previous & present employment (if any);
• original certificate/s of seminars/trainings completed (if any);
• original marriage certificate (if married); and
• original certificate of confirmation from NCIP/NCMF (if applicable).
