Calling all interested applicants who want to study in Japan, this is your chance to pursue a 1-year master's degree in the Land of the Rising Sun as the 2025 Young Leaders Program is now accepting applications.
The Young Leaders Program is up for grabs for young professionals who want to take a career in fields such as healthcare administration, law, government, local governance or business administration.
The Young Leaders Program was made by the sole reasons of:
- fostering future national leaders in the countries of Asia and other regions;
- creating comprehensive human networks among the leaders of nations;
- establishing friendly relationships among the countries involved, including Japan; and
- improving the quality of policy planning in the participating countries.
Before jumping on to the details of the Young Leaders Program, interested applicants must be able to possess the eligibility criteria below to qualify for the program:
- Filipino citizen;
- Bachelor’s degree holder with excellent academic records;
- highly proficient in English;
- under 40 years old; and
- employed with at least 2-5 years of work experience (varies depending on the course).
Under the Young Leaders Program, all selected applicants will have the chance to receive a comprehensive scholarship package including a monthly allowance of JPY 242,000 (Php93,600), traveling costs, education fees, and accommodations.
Successful and qualified applicants under the Young Leaders Program will have the chance to study in one of the prestigious universities in Japan depending on the course that they have chosen, which include:
- Nagoya University;
- Hitotsubashi University ICS;
- Kyushu University; and
- National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS).
As for the Young Leaders Program applications, all shall be coursed via the specific recommending authorities for each course.
Meanwhile, all application deadlines will be depending on each recommending authority.
