The Philippine Army, the main, oldest, and largest branch of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, tasked for ground warfare, has opened the recruitment for Candidate Soldier Course for the calendar year 2024.
According to data, as of 2021 there is an estimated strength of 143,100 soldiers in the Philippine Army backed by 131,000 ready reserves. If you think you may be the one they are looking for, they are now welcoming new candidates to join the ranks.
Below are the skills, Philippine Army, needs for Candidate Soldier Course including Property Management, Hotel and Restaurant Services, Supply Chain Management, Instrumentation and Control, Cooking, Culinary and Food Management Clothing and Footwear related courses, Heavy Equipment Operation, and Dental Hygiene.
To be considered in the CSC, applicants must be AFPSAT passer, earned at least 72 units in college, or if K-12 (Senior HS) graduate, must possess technical skills or talents, and have at least 1 year working experience.
They must also be natural-born Filipino citizen, single with no parental obligation, at least 5 feet tall (both male and female) and physically and mentally fit, at least 18 years old but not a day older than 26 years old, or up until 35 years old if with NC III or IV, upon entry, and have no pending case in any court.
For those qualified applicants, here are the documentary requirements you need to prepare: diploma (senior high school), form 137-A, PSA birth certificate, and any government-issued ID.
Now, Philippine Army is also looking for graduates of the following courses for Candidate Soldier Course which include Accounting Technology, Mechatronics Technology, Electronics Technology, Mechanical Technology, Chemical Technology, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, Psychology, Architecture, Land Surveying, Journalism, and Radio Broadcasting.
Hence, before you file your application, you must be an AFPSAT passer, natural-born Filipino citizen, single, with no parental obligation, at least 5 feet tall (both male and female), and physically and mentally fit.
You must also be at least 21 years old but not a day older than 26 years old upon entry with no pending case in any court.
Additionally, these are the necessary documentary requirements that you need to prepare including college diploma, transcript of records, PSA birth certificate and any government-issued ID.
