Calling all interested incoming first year college student applicants, the Lifeline Assistance for Neighbors In-Need or also known as LANI scholarship program is bound to look for prospective scholars for the school year 2024-2025.
The LANI scholarship program is an initiative spearheaded by Mayor Maria Laarni L. Cayetano who believes that while under her tenure, all Taguigenos are special and shall have an equal opportunity in studying, finding work, and having a brighter future.
In order to thoroughly course the students for LANI scholarship program, there are common eligibility criteria that must be met beforehand aside from the specific requirements per scholarship type which are as follow:
- applicants must already be enrolled;
- if 18 years old or older, applicants must be an active voter of Taguig;
- with at least one parent an active voter of Taguig;
- family must be residents of Taguig for at least three (3) years; and
- of good moral character.
The LANI scholarship program caters to diverse individuals and various scholarship type with several amount per year allocated which include:
HONORS:
- Top 10 graduates of Public High School in Taguig.
- P40K-P50K
PREMIER:
- Passed the UPCAT in any Luzon campus, or other Higher Education PREMIER Institutions (HEI) classified as Centers of Excellence whether public or private.
- P40K-P50K
PRIORITY:
- Courses and School listed in DOST's priority plus Persons With Disability and those taking up Law and Medicine in selected top performing schools.
- P40K-P50K
BASIC PLUS (PUBLIC TO PUBLIC):
- Graduate of Public High School in Taguig or contiguous Local Government Units (LGU) in the National Capital Region (NCR) and are enrolled in an State Universities and Colleges (SUC) or Local Colleges and Universities (LCU).
- P20K-P30K
BASIC (PUBLIC TO PRIVATE):
- Graduate of Public High School in Taguig or contiguous LGUs in the NCR and are enrolled in Private HEIs in the NCR.
- P15K-P25K
SUC/LCU (PRIVATE TO PUBLIC):
- Graduate of Private High School in SUC/LCU Taguig or contiguous LGUs in the NCR and are enrolled in Public HEIs in the NCR such as SUCs or LCUS.
- P15K- P25K
REVIEW:
- Graduate of tech-voc, degree, medical or law courses required by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) or the Supreme Court (SC) to take board / bar examinations.
- P15K-P20K) (latter if medicine or law)
LEAD:
- Taking up Masteral or Doctoral Courses who are working in Taguig as national government employee; city employee; barangay employee; or private school teachers in schools in Taguig.
- P18K-P60K plus P25K-P50K upon admission of duly completed thesis or dissertation

- Polytechnic University of the Philippines Taguig Campus
- St. Chamuel Institute of Technology
