If you are a passionate young engineer who is hopeful and eager to innovate in the energy industry, a cadet program offered by Meralco might be of interest to you.
Meralco is currently opening the Meralco Cadet Engineering Program (MCEP), and is giving a chance to all interested and qualified individuals to join the MCEP and begin a rewarding career journey with them.
In a glimpse, the Meralco Cadet Engineering Program is a program intended for new Registered Electrical Engineers who want to fast-track immersion into the organization and accelerate competency development in their area of specialization.
The Meralco Cadet Engineering Program will be conducted for seven (7) months which is set to commence on January 2025.
Upon selection for the Meralco Cadet Engineering Program, chosen cadets will have to take supplementary courses and immersion as well as the following fundamental courses such as:
- Meralco in the Philippine Landscape;
- Introduction to Customer Service Process;
- The Meralco Engineering Backbone; and
- Distribution Utility in the Digital Age.
As of the announcement, the Meralco Cadet Engineering Program is open to certain individuals who possess the qualifications and criteria provided by the company which include:
- Bachelor of Science(BS) in Electrical Engineering graduates;
- passed the April 2024 or upcoming August 2024 Electrical Engineering Licensure Exam; and
- with a rating of 85% or higher.
