So, what is it for interested trainees when they become part of the Meralco Line Crew Trainees program?

The Meralco Line Crew Trainees program shall allow trainees to undergo the scheme and provides support for trainees while in the field.

During the Meralco Line Crew Trainees program, trainees will be able to practice installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical power lines and other equipment.

• Meralco Cadet Engineering Program (MCEP) is now open for applications

The Meralco Line Crew Trainees program shall be free of charge and shall allow trainees to render several months to finish the program.

After graduation of the Meralco Line Crew Trainees program, trainees will have to opportunity to receive regular employment upon successful completion of the training program.

Before anything else, the Meralco Line Crew Trainees program has set out certain eligibility criteria that must be met by interested trainees which are bulleted below:

• high school graduate (senior high school or old curriculum);
• with height of 5'5" for male and 5'2" for female;
• physically fit and no fear of heights; and
• must hold a non-professional driver's license with restriction code 2 (for four-wheel vehicles)
