Who Can Apply?
PNP Entrance Examination (PNPEE)
This examination is open to:
- Qualified civilians aged 21 to 30 years old on the day of the examination.
- Holders of a bachelor’s degree from any recognized institution.
- Patrolmen and Patrolwomen who are currently appointed temporarily due to a lack of eligibility.
Promotional Examinations (PROMEX)
These exams are intended for current members of the PNP seeking promotion and career advancement. The PROMEX evaluates the competency and readiness of officers from various classes, including Police Officer 4th Class up to Police Officer 1st Class.
Step-by-Step Guide to NAPOLCOM Online Registration
To register for the PNPEE or PROMEX, all applicants must follow these procedures:
- Visit the official NAPOLCOM website at www.napolcom.gov.ph.
- Click on the NAPOLCOM Online Scheduling System (NOSS) link.
- Complete the required information in the system.
- Upload the following documents:
- For civilians: One (1) valid government-issued ID showing the applicant’s date of birth (e.g., passport, driver’s license, postal ID).
- For PNP personnel: Valid PNP ID.
- Upon successful registration, you will receive a Notice of Schedule indicating the date for on-site processing at the designated NAPOLCOM Regional Office. Applicants must print or take a screenshot of this notice.
On-Site Application Processing Schedule
All applicants must proceed to their assigned NAPOLCOM Regional Office from August 19 to September 19, 2025, for the in-person processing of their application. The process includes completing the Examination Application Form and Index Card provided by the office.

For PNPEE – Civilian Applicants:
- Printed or electronic copy of the Notice of Schedule.
- Two (2) recent passport-size photos in white shirt and white background with full name (first, middle, last).
- One (1) valid government-issued ID with birth date.
- Original or certified true copy of any of the following:
- Transcript of Records
- Diploma
- Certificate of Graduation
- One (1) legal-size window envelope with appropriate mailing stamp (stamp rate determined by the Regional Office).
- Exam Fee: ₱400.00
For PNPEE – Patrolman/Patrolwoman (Temporary Status):
- Printed or electronic copy of the Notice of Schedule.
- Two (2) recent passport-size photos in PNP uniform with white background and complete name tag.
- Valid PNP ID.
- One (1) legal-size window envelope with mailing stamp.
- Exam Fee: ₱400.00
For PROMEX – PNP Personnel (All Classes):
- Printed or electronic copy of the Notice of Schedule.
- Two (2) passport-size photos in PNP uniform with white background, complete with name tag (rank and full name).
- Valid PNP ID.
- One (1) legal-size window envelope with mailing stamp.
- Examination Fees (based on class/rank):
- PO 4th Class – ₱400.00
- PO 3rd Class – ₱450.00
- PO 2nd Class – ₱500.00
- PO 1st Class – ₱600.00

- Strict adherence to the schedule is expected. Late or incomplete applications will not be entertained.
