The Philippine Navy, the naval warfare service branch of the Armed Forces of the Philippines has opened the second cycle of Mobile Recruitment for the calendar year 2024.
As per the data, the Philippine Navy comprised of stronghold 24,500 active service personnel which include the 10,300 Philippine Marine Corps.
Back to the mobile recruitment announcement, it was indicated that it shall be conducted in various areas of the country.
This initiative aims to swiftly accommodate applicants for the Naval Officer Candidate Course (NOCC), Sailor Basic Course (SBC) and Marine Basic Course (MBC) from different places.
Further, the announcement stated that the recruitment cycle is intended for male and selected female applicants with needed courses or skills.
Qualifications may vary depending on the courses being applied on, hence, below are the detailed eligibility criteria, interested applicants must possess in order to qualify.
For Naval Officer Candidate Course (NOCC), qualifications include: being natural-born Filipino citizen and baccalaureate degree holder (preferably technical courses).
Applicants must also be at least 20 years old, but not a day older than 26 years old on the date of application, and not a day older than 27 years old upon appointment as Probationary Ensign / Probationary 2LT.
Their height must not be less than 5'0" (152.4 cm) and should be single and never been married, never borne or sired a child.
They must essentially possess good moral character and must be physically and mentally fit for training.
Upon knowing whether you are qualified or not, application requirements such as diploma, transcript of records, and birth certificate (PSA copy) must be prepared for submission.
Meanwhile, for Sailor Basic Course (SBC) and Marine Basic Course (MBC), qualifications include: being natural-born Filipino citizen and must completed 12 years of basic education under the K–12 program, has at least 72 units of a collegiate course from an educational institution recognized by the government, or at least completed from TESDA any technical course with a National Certificate (NCII).
Applicants must be at least 18 years old, but not a day older than 24 years and 5 months old on the date of application, and not a day older than 25 years and 5 months upon appointment as Candidate Sailor / Soldier.
In terms of height, they must not be less than 5'0" (152.4 cm) and must be single and never been married, never borne or sired a child.
They should also have a good moral character and must be physically and mentally fit for training.
Application requirements to be prepared include diploma, transcript of records, TESDA NCII (if any) and PSA birth certificate.
