Do you want to join this year's mission and start your KwentongPhilSAScholar? This is now your chance to apply for the Advanced Degrees for Accelerating Strategic Space R&D and Applications (AD ASTRA) scholarships program for local for first semester intake.
This initiative shall be open for applications for students who finished their Bachelor’s degree and those who want to pursue Master's or Doctoral degree in advanced studies in fields related to space science, technology, and applications.
The scholarship shall provide scholars with tuition and other school fees, stipend, research grant, allowances for thesis/dissertation, research dissemination grant, and allowances for relocation and extra-academic activities.
These study programs include space law, diplomacy, industry, and economics which shall be conducted in any local or international higher educational institutions.
Note that applications shall be accepted until June 15 for first semester intake and October 15, 2024 for second semester intake.
Before you proceed with your application, you must first satisfy the scholarship's eligibility criteria under the scholarship.
Applicants must be Filipino citizen and not be more than 45 years old at the time of application.
He or she must essentially be in good health and possesses good moral character, as attested by two (2) character references.
He or she must also have a relevant Bachelor’s degree with no pending administrative/criminal case.
Moreover, he or she must have no pending service obligation from any previous scholarship programs unless there is a clearance or consent from the previous granting institution allowing the postponement of return service obligation and indicating that monitoring of the previous service obligation will not be transferred to PhilSA.
Technically, he or she must have a research/thesis/dissertation plan in line with the Key Development Areas of PhilSA.
Further, he or she must have passed the admission requirements of any CHED-recognized Higher Educational Institution (HEI).
Lastly, the applicants must have passed the internal scholarship process of his/her Department/Agency (for government employees) and must have been accepted to their host institution.
