The Philippine National Police, the armed national police force in the Philippines is immensely excited to announce that they are in the process of recruiting several personnel to join their workforce.

As per the announcement, current positions available are up for grabs for aspiring patrolmen and patrolwomen. They also have openings for health service professions such as medical doctors (137), dentists (36), psychologists (13), medico-legal doctors (forensic group) (15), optometrists (24), and other professions including priests (8), and chemists (17).
Let's start with the general qualifications necessary for aspiring patrolmen and patrolwomen. One must be a Filipino citizen, possess a good moral character, pass the BMI, physical agility test, neuro and medical examination, and drug test, be eligible upon the standards set by NAPOLCOM, acquire a baccalaureate degree from recognized learning institutions, and must not be less than twenty-one (21) nor more than thirty-years (30) old.
Most importantly, appropriate eligibilities such as having to pass the NAPOLCOM entrance examination, be a licensed criminologist (Republic Act (RA) no. 6506, as amended by RA no. 11131, RA no. 1080 (bar and board examinatios), Presedential Decree (PD) no. 907 (granting civil service eligibilty to college honor graduates), and Civil Service Profession (CS Prof) examination.
If hired, patrolmen and patrolwomen will be able to bag home a monthly basic compensation of Php29,668.
Meanwhile, for those who want to be part of other job vacancies, eligibility criteria including being a Filipino citizen, possessing a good moral character, passing the BMI, physical agility test, neuro and medical examination, and drug test, and be eligible upon the standards set by NAPOLCOM must be met by all interested applicants.
If hired, police captains will receive a basic salary of Php56,582 while police lieutenants shall be granted a monthly basic salary of Php49,528.
Applicants for patrolmen and patrolwomen are advised to prepare the following documentary requirements upon their application.
1.PSA Birth Certificate with receipt
2.Scholastic Records must be original or authenticated:
- College Diploma
- Transcript of Record (TOR) with General Weighted Average (GWA)
- Certification, Authentication and Verification (From School or CHED)
3.Eligibility must be original or authenticated:
- Board Exam Rating, or
- NAPOLCOM Exam Result, or
- Civil Service Exam Result, or
- Honor Graduate Eligibility (PD 907)
- Civil Service Commission PDS
- NAPOLCOM Height or Age Waiver.
