Get ready to seize your technical and vocational career with Toyota Motor Philippines School of Technology, as its scholarship program application for the September 2024 intake is bound to start on July 15, 2024 and shall close on July 31, 2024.
TMP Tech noted that applicants must initiallly pass both the admission and medical exams before taking the time to apply for the scholarship.
Scholars under TMP Tech shall receive a basic scholarship coverage including tuition and miscellaneous fees, and TESDA National Assessment Fees for first time taker. TMP Tech reiterated that those who will retake the assessment shall be on their own account.
Additionally, TMP Tech scholars will be entitled to an extended scholarship coverage as approved by the sponsor which shall include dormitory accommodation, monthly stipend where amount will be decided by the sponsor, and sea or airfare for opening of classes, and OJT in Toyota Dealership if within Visayas and Mindanao.
Before anything else, interested scholars shall first fulfill the eligibility criteria as listed by TMP Tech which are as follow below:
- Filipino citizen
- Annual family income of no more than Php250,000
- Priority: 17-18 years old Fresh Senior High School (SHS) graduate
- Average grade of 80% and above from SHS, no failing grade in any subjects and no discipline case
- Score of 70% or higher in admission examination
They must also be able to pass the following:
- Medical examination
- Interview by sponsor
- Home and family visit, as needed
There are also specific requirements that must be met by prospective scholars including:
- Must be residents and high school graduates from North Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao
- Male
- 17-24 years old
There are 56 scholarship slots available for TMP Tech scholars, each with different allotted number:
- Toyota Automotive Servicing
- Toyota Automotive Body Repairing
- Toyota Automotive Painting
- Toyota Automotive Servicing
- Specialized Toyota Automotive Servicing Course
