This announcement is to inform all motivated incoming freshmen to get ready to supercharge their education with Southwestern University Phinma's Working Scholarship for the school year 2024-2025.
Before anything else, Southwestern University PHINMA is a private university founded in 1946 by pharmacist Matias and Anunciación Aznar, priorly established as a college. As years passed by, it continues to produce excellent results which turned the college into a university in 1959.
Hence, its scholarship initiative will help scholars to balance their academic pursuits with practical work experience, all in one seamless program.
Additionally, it also unlocks new opportunities and enjoy free education in pursuit of their dreams.
Lastly, it allows them to join a vibrant community of scholar-workers who understand the value of hard work and education. Together, they support each other's goals and aspirations.
Below are the necessary documentary requirements that must be fulfilled and compiled by interested scholars.
They must prepare their first semester grades or grade 12 second semester grades, biodata, certificate of indigency, 2x2 picture, good moral, PSA (birth certificate), and parent consent.
They also need to submit their application letter addressed to Ms. Maita G. Magalong, Vice President for Student Life, thru Mr. Erickson D. Cañaveral, Internal Scholarship Coordinator.
These documents must be enclosed in a green long folder and must be submitted at Student Life Office, Southwestern University PHINMA, Urgello St., Cebu City.
Afterward, applicants will undergo PPI and IQ examination and finally the interview.
Upon knowing that you qualify for the scholarship, it is now your time to choose among the programs available for Working Scholarships.
These study programs shall include Bachelor of Science in Business Administration- Marketing Management, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration- Financial Management, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration- General Management Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, and Bachelor of Arts in Communication.
