The Department of Health (DOH), the head agency of the Philippine government tasked in ensuring access to basic public health services by all Filipinos by the providing quality health care, the regulation of all health services and products, is currently searching for government interns under the initiative DOH Government Internship Program (GIP).
The DOH Government Internship Program's goal is to equip prospective applicants with wider training and opportunities which is geared towards the acquisition and/or application of knowledge and skills conducted in the workplace.
Additionally, the experience they will earn from DOH Government Internship Program shall make the applicants familiarized themselves in public service which will later help them as they eventually join the workforce.
In order to be considered in the DOH Government Internship Program, prospective applicants shall fall to the following qualifications as specified by the DOH conditions.
- Must be 18 to 25 years old
- High School Graduate/ College Graduate/ College Level/ Technical-Vocational Graduate
- Must be a first-time GIP beneficiary
The DOH Government Internship Program will run for three (3) months where they will receive a monthly allowance of Php 27,450, approximately Php 450 per day times 61 working days.
Hence, all the necessary documentary requirements for DOH Government Internship Program shall be accomplished by the applicants which include the application form, waiver, CS form no. 212, work experience sheet, and documentary requirement checklist.
