The Department of Health (DOH), the agency responsible for the provision and delivery of health services in the Philippines has recently announced on their official Facebook post that they are on the look-out of government interns to join their department.
The initiative falls under the Government Internship Program (GIP), created solely with the purpose of providing wider training and opportunities among the youth geared towards the acquisition and application of knowledge and skills in the workplace.
As the government interns finished the DOH Government Internship Program, the experience they acquired will introduce them to public service which in turn shall help them as they eventually join the workforce.
However, there are certain eligibility criteria that the DOH Government Internship Program is looking for in all interested and prospective applicants where they shall fall under the following qualifications:
- must be 18 to 25 years old;
- high school graduate/ college graduate/ college level/ technical-vocational graduate; and
- must be a first-time GIP beneficiary.
As you proceed with your application upon knowing that you qualify for the DOH Government Internship Program, you may now prepare the following necessary documentary requirements:
- application form;
- waiver;
- personal data sheet;
- work experience sheet; and
- documentary requirements checklist.
If chosen for the DOH, DOH is hiring government interns Internship Program, interns will be compensated for the duration of three (3) months which is sixty-one (61) working days, equivalent to Php27,450, approximately Php450 per day.
As per the announcement, the application period for the DOH Government Internship Program shall run from August 19- 23, 2024. The DOH advised all interested applicants to complete all the documents on time as incomplete and late submission will not be entertained and processed.
Also, those accepted applicants for the DOH Government Internship Program shall be mandated to report at least three (3) times per week from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at the DOH Central Office.
Moreover, all applicants for the DOH Government Internship Program must submit their application to DOH, Health Human Resource Development Bureau (HHRDB) located at Bldg. 12-A, San Lazaro Compound, Rizal Avenue, Sta. Cruz, Manila, or send it via email at gip@doh gov.ph
