Gubat St. Anthony Cooperative (GSAC) is more than just a multipurpose cooperative initially launched in 1964 with a goal of empowering and uplifting lives of its members, it also offers a scholarship initiative that may change the future of young generations.
In actuality, it is now accepting applications for its Gubat St. Anthony Cooperative (GSAC) College Scholarship Program for the school year 2024-2025. This scholarship shall cater to all courses in public universities.
In order to proceed with their applications, interested applicants must first satisfy the eligibility criteria provided by GSAC.
Applicants must be incoming first year college students for S.Y. 2024-2025.
They must be from indigent family whether member or non-member of GSAC and not beneficiaries of other scholarship program.
Moreover, they should be qualified in the entrance exam of the school where he/she plans to enroll.
Upon knowing the qualifications, applicants may now prepare the necessary documentary requirements listed.
Accomplished scholarship application form, which is also available at CSR Department Office located on the 2nd floor of GSAC New Building Gubat, Sorsogon.
Photocopy of the current income tax return of parents duly stamped by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (bring original). As for parents who do not file ITR, a certificate of indigency from the barangay is a must.
Photocopy of complete senior high school: grade 11 and grade 12 report card with an average of 88% or above, notice of acceptance or entrance exam result from the admission and Aid Director of the College where he/she plans to enroll.
Recommendation letter from the guidance counselor and approved by the principal of his/her school.
Lastly, recommendation letter from Brgy. Chairperson or Local Government Unit Officer/Certification that he/she is not a recipient of any existing scholarship program.
To submit the available documents, applicants may visit CSR Department Office located at 2nd floor of GSAC New Building Gubat, Sorsogon, or at the nearest GSAC Branch where the applicants are located.
For the application materials, applicants shall put them in a long white folder, with their name clearly written at corner in Surname, First Name format.
