The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA; Pangasiwaan sa Pagpapaunlad ng Kalakhang Maynila) is a Philippine government agency with jurisdiction over the cities of Manila, Quezon City, Caloocan, Pasay, Mandaluyong, Makati, Pasig, Marikina, Muntinlupa, Las Pias, Paranaque, Valenzuela, Malabon, Taguig, and Navotas. The MMDA office is in Guadalupe, Makati, along Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) and Orense Street.
The MMDA conducts planning, monitoring, and coordination tasks, as well as regulatory and supervisory authority over the delivery of metro-wide services within Metro Manila, without jeopardizing local government units’ autonomy on strictly local issues.
MMDA is actually hiring Traffic Aides for March, 2022. Traffic Aides are responsible in implementing traffic management through the use of signs and traffic lights, maintaining a safe environment for pedestrians and vehicles, guiding traffic, and monitoring traffic patterns for control needs.
