For the academic year 2024-2025, the first and only chartered and autonomous university funded by a city government which is Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila also referred to as University of the City of Manila, has started accepting online applications on September 19 for its Admission Test for incoming college students (freshmen).
What is PLM Admission Test?
PLM Admission Test tends to gauge student's knowledge and serve as one of the pre-requisite to admit the students to PLM.
The PLM Admission Test is done on-site where student applicants will take a 2-hour examination consisting of sub-tests in English, Science, Mathematics, Filipino and Abstract Reasoning.

Who may Apply for PLM Admission Test?
As announced, student applicants who are eligible to apply for PLM Admission Test are those that possess the following basic qualifications:
- a grade 12 student who is currently enrolled in a senior high school (SHS) accredited by Department of Education (DepEd) or;
- graduate from senior high school and has not taken any college or university units/programs prior or during the application or;
- an alternative learning system (ALS) completer and accreditation & equivalency (A&E) passer (recommended for tertiary education) and has not yet taken any college or university units/programs prior or during the application.

What are the Necessary Documentary Requirements for PLM Admission Test?
All student applicants for PLM Admission Test are asked to prepare the scanned copy (PDF) of the following documents:
- PSA birth certificate;
- for senior high school (SHS): grade 11 certificate of general weighted average (GWA);
- for alternative learning system (ALS) completers and accreditation & equivalency (A&E) passers: certificate of completion.
How to File your Application for PLM Admission Test?
To start with your application for PLM Admission Test, we have outlined the necessary application process that you must follow:
Step 1: Go to the PLM Admission Test portal.
Step 2: Accomplish the online application form.
Step 3: Upload online the necessary documentary requirements.
Step 4: Check your email for the account credentials upon successful submission of your application.
Step 5: Regularly log in to the PLM Admission Test portal by using your account credentials to check the status of your application.
Step 6: Print in colored (single page) and upload your scanned-signed test permit with your ID picture (2x2 colored with white background).
Step 7: On the day of the examination, bring with you two (2) signed exam permits with an ID picture (2x2 colored with white background).
