The Philippine National Police (PNP) is the civilian Armed National Forces of our country. Their salary grades or their levels of salary is part of the implementation of the Congress Joint Resolution. The said resolution aims to increase the base pay of both the military and the uniformed personnel of the government and other agencies and institutions.
Under the Department of National Defense (DND) and the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), both military and uniform personnel have modified base pay schedules which are verified and authorized. Moreover, this PNP modified base pay schedule is given to people in the PNP.
The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Philippine Public Safety College (PPSC), and the Philippine National Police (PNP) are the inclusions on the DILG part or sector.
