Education is often hailed as the key to unlocking a brighter future, and this belief resonates strongly within the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
In their commitment to nation-building, the AFP has launched the "Tunay na Iskolar ng Bayan" Educational Program, offering a unique opportunity for Filipino youth to embark on a journey of academic excellence and leadership development for the year 2023.
As the youth of the nation step forward to answer this call, they embark on a path that not only benefits them individually but also contributes significantly to the progress and security of the entire nation.
What courses are offered under the program?
The program is available to Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Certificated Courses offered by the Centre for International Education Global Colleges, Inc. (CIE) via Distance Education Online Learning mode.
How many slots are available under the program?
There will be a total of one thousand (1,000) scholarship covering 100% of the tuition fee in ICT Courses offered by CIE shall be granted to dependents of KIA, CDD Battle, CDD Non-Battle, LOD, and Active/Retired dependents of military personnel broken down into the following slots:
- Five Hundred (500) CIE ICT Certificated Course (stand-alone, short-term);
- Three Hundred (300) CIE Diploma Cluster Courses;
- Two Hundred (200) CIE Higher Diploma Cluster Courses (Leading to a degree in Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, with special interest in Cybersecurity).

- ΚΙΑ: Killed-In-Action
- CDD: Complete Disability Discharged (100% CDD)
- WIA: Wounded-In-Action
- ΜΙΑ: Missing-In-Action
- SWDS: Soldiers With Disabilities

CIE BRITISH SCHOOL ICT CERTIFICATED COURSES- DIPLOMA COURSES:
In a meeting of minds, the Philippine National Police (ITMS), CIE British School (CIE), and the Rotary Club of Makati Circle of Friends (RCMCOF) recognize the continuing need to provide quality education to disadvantaged uniformed personnel and their dependents, and aims to address this through the "Tunay na Iskolar ng Bayan" Scholarship Program.
This Scholarship Program applies to high quality, internationally recognized Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Certificated Courses offered by CIE via Distance Education.
The Course: CIE ICT CERTIFICATED COURSES
- High quality, internationally recognized modules clustered into Diploma Courses that equip students with specialized ICT knowledge and skills as they progress throughout the entire course.
Mode of Delivery: SELF-DIRECTED ONLINE LEARNING
- Students can work at their own pace depending in completing each module provided all modules of the Diploma Course are completed before the Mastery Exam (TBA).
Duration:
- 10 Months
Assessments: Mastery Exam
- Conducted at the end to earn a Diploma
Certifications:
- Provided by International Certifications Body [OPTIONAL] Exams Fees apply for each Certification Exam
