Who can apply for the scholarship?
The program is open to students in grades 7 to 12 who are residents of Pasig City. It targets public school students. To be eligible, students must possess the following qualifications. One must:
- have parents who are bona fide Pasig City residents for at least three (3) years;
- have completed elementary education in a school located in Pasig City or a certified Alternative Learning System completer;
- be presently enrolled in a public secondary school (junior or senior high school) in Pasig City;
- have passed all subjects during the previous academic year with a general average of at least 75%;
- belong to an indigent family, as verified and certified by a Pasig City social worker;
- not have a sibling who is currently a Pasig City Scholar or a CHIP-In Beneficiary.
What are the necessary documentary requirements?
Interested applicants must prepare the following documents:
- Proof of Enrollment (Photocopy)
(e.g., Class Assignment List, School Registration Form or Enrollment Slip
- Report Card (F-138) or other Proof of Grades (Photocopy) (e.g., F-137, ALS Certificate of Learning Achievement)
Barangay Certification of Residency
Note: Should contain the applicant's number of years of residency Proof of Income of Parents/Guardians
Unemployed or Workers in the Informal Sector (e.g., tricycle/jeepney driver)
- Barangay Certificate of Indigency is acceptable only if it states the amount and the source of income
- Affidavit of Non-filing of Income Tax Return from PAO/Notary Public (May be requested free of charge from the City Legal Office)
- Employed (e.g., office staff, factory worker, company driver, etc.)
- Latest one (1) Month Payslip
- Certificate of Employment with compensation
- BIR Income Tax Return
- Overseas Filipino worker (OFW)
- Employment Contract
- Latest Remittance Slip
Self-employed (e.g., vendor, business owner, online seller)
- Affidavit of Non-filing of Income Tax Return from PAO/Notary Public (May be requested free of charge from the City Legal Office)
- Interview Intake Form

- 1x1 picture (white background)
- To be uploaded to the online form and attached to the hard copy of the filled out application form

You will be asked to upload the soft copy of the requirements through the online application form.
After the completion of the online application form, you will be directed to the confirmation page.
If you see this confirmation message, it means that your response has already been included in the database:
"Thank you for submitting your application. You will receive a copy of your application form for your reference from [email protected]. Please wait within 24 hours."
- Check your email.
You will receive an email from [email protected] containing a PDF file of your accomplished form.
If you didn't receive the email, you may:
Download the application form (link to download is available in the online registration form) and manually fill it out, or
Send an email to the PCS Office ([email protected]) requesting for the copy of your PDF file with the subject:
Request for PDF File_Last Name, First Name (e.g., Request for PDF File_Dela Cruz, Juan)
- Print the PDF copy of the accomplished form and ensure that the applicant and parent/guardian signed the form prior to enclosing it in a long brown envelope along with the hard copy of the requirements.
Label the envelope with the following details:
- Name (Last Name, First Name, and Middle Initial)
- Grade/Year Level for SY 2023-2024
- Barangay
- Classification: New
- Affiliation (if applicable): e.g., PWD, 4Ps, Solo
- Submit the long brown envelope containing your application form and complete requirements, along with your accomplished Interview Intake Form on the date of your scheduled interview.
Wait for the notification from the Pasig City Scholars Office and monitor their Facebook Page for the list of applicants for interview and the interview schedules.
NOTE: Only those who passed the minimum qualifications will be contacted by the PCS Office.
For applicants contacted for interview, please arrive on the date and time of the interview. The PCS Office will not entertain requests for rescheduling.
Applicants who failed to show up will only be given a new schedule AFTER all scheduled interviews have been completed.
