DOST Scholarship 2025 Is Now Open!

The Department of Science and Technology Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) has once again opened its doors to aspiring young minds through its Junior Level Science Scholarships for the academic year 2024-2025, DOST Scholarship 2025. This prestigious scholarship program aims to support and nurture talented Filipino students who have a passion for science and technology, paving the way for a brighter future in the fields of science, engineering, and mathematics.

Who can apply for DOST scholarship 2025?

1. Natural-born Filipino citizen;
2. Poor, talented and deserving student who belongs to a family whose socio-economic status does not exceed the set values of certain indicators;
3. REGULAR second year college male and female students enrolled in a DOST-SEI priority S&T course at identified universities in the Second Semester of AY 2023-2024;
4. Must have a general weighted average of at least 83% or its equivalent and with no conditional or failing mark from the First Semester of First Year until the First Semester of Second Year in college, including in the midyear terms, if enrolled;
5. Resident of the municipality as attested by the barangay for at least four (4) years;
6. Must be of good moral character and in good health;
7. Have not applied for a DOST-SEI scholarship before;
8. Have applied for a DOST-SEI scholarship before but did not qualify to the scholarship;
9. Have qualified for a DOST-SEI scholarship but did not avail of the award.

What are the benefits under DOST scholarship 2025?

1. Tuition and other school fees (for scholars enrolled in private HEIs) ₱40,000.00 / year
2. Learning Materials and/or Connectivity Allowance ₱10,000.00 / year
3. Monthly Living Allowance ₱7,000.00 / month
4. Transportation Allowance (for those studying outside of home province)- 1 economy-class roundtrip fare
5. Group Health and Accident Insurance Premium
6. Thesis Allowance ₱10,000.00
7. Graduation Allowance ₱1,000.00

Summer Allowance (if required in the curriculum)

1. Tuition and other school fees ₱10,000.00
2. Learning Materials and/or Connectivity Allowance ₱2,000.00 (outright grant)
3. Monthly Living Allowance ₱7,000.00 / month for two months

2. Prepare Required Documents:
   • NSO/PSA Birth Certificate
   • Parent’s income tax return (or other proof of income)
   • Certification of Good Moral Character from your school
   • Recent 2x2 ID photo
3. Fill Out the Application Form: Enter all required personal and academic details carefully.
4. Upload Your Documents: Ensure that all documents are clear and follow the portal’s guidelines.
5. Submit and Confirm: Submit your application and check your email for a confirmation message.
