Knowing different foreign language allows an individual to broaden the opportunity he or she might embark to especially in job hunting abroad, in this matter, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), in partnership with National Language Skills Center (NLSC), is currently offering free languange training programs.
As per TESDA's announcement, the available free language training programs include Basic Korean Language and Culture, Spanish Language for Different Vocations, Japanese Language and Culture, and English Proficiency for Customer Service Workers.
These free language training programs require the applicants to render at least 100 hours within 25 days.
Undergoing any of these free languange programs will ensure the applicants core competencies to enhance and improve.
First, for Basic Korean Language and Culture, applicants will be able to read, write, listen, and speak Korean characters and numbers, communicate and listen to basic Korean phrases and sentences, and familiarize Korean culture, apply Korean norms and work ethics.
Second, for Spanish Language for Different Vocations, applicants will be able to communicate in basic Spanish language, neutralize local or regional accent, conduct simple transaction in Spanish, and recognize Spanish Spain culture.
Third, Japanese Language and Culture, applicants will be able to read, write, listen, and speak Japanese characters and numbers, communicate with various form of speech in different situations, and apply Japanese culture and work ethics.
Lastly, for English Proficiency for Customer Service Workers, applicants will be able to communicate in basic English language, neutralize local and regional accent, apply verbal and non-verbal communication skills as customer service workers.
Applicants who want to take these universal opportunity must be able to fulfill the eligibility criteria mandated by TESDA.
Applicants for this free language training programs must be Filipino citizens, at least eighteen (18) years old, at least high school graduates and must not be currently enrolled.
For the necessary documentary requirements, applicants are advised to prepare their PSA birth certificate, marriage certificate (for married women only), and high school or college diploma or transcript of records.
