(Updated May 22) The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) is the branch of the government that mandates and regulates the practice of professionals. They are in charge of the assessment of to-be professionals’ results of their tests.
The Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) has taken place and hopefuls are on the watch to know whether or not they made it to the list. It doesn’t matter if they’re a topnotcher or if their school is one of the schools that performed the best; the important part in this situation is whether or not they have passed the March 2019 LET Results Teacher’s Board Assessment.
When was this board exam executed?
The PRC made the first board exam for this year for the LET on September 2019; they held the assessment in around twenty (20) testing centers in the whole Philippines.
The testing centers are:
- Occidental Mindoro
- General Santos
- Cagayan De Oro (CDO)
- Baguio; and
Board for Professional Teachers
These board members of this specific institution are: Chairman Dr. Paz I. Lucido; Vice Chairman Dr. Paraluman R. Giron; Dr. Rosita L. Navarro; and Dr. Nora M. Uy.
When will the release of results be?
As per the PRC Resolution No. 1127, the release date that the PRC targets would be on Tuesday, the 21st of May, 2019. This is equivalent to 36 working days after the examination took place.
You can check the PRC Board News every now and then to check whether or not the results of the September 2019 LET Teacher’s Board Passers have already been updated. More so, news from the PRC said that the release of the list of names would somewhere be around the 25th of November 2019 to December 5.
This means that the total number of working days would exclude eight (8) Saturdays and Sundays. In addition to that, five (5) holidays are also not being counted, namely: The Day of Valor (April 9, 2019 | Tuesday); Maundy Thursday (April 18, 2019 | Thursday); Good Friday (April 19, 2019 | Friday); The Labor Day (May 1, 2019 | Wednesday); the Philippine General Election (May 13, 2019 | Monday).
To add to that, the government also suspended work in both government and private offices in Metro Manila when the 6.1-magnitude earthquake transpired in Luzon; this is also excluded in the number of days.
