Among these initiatives are the Education for Development Scholarship Program (EDSP) and the Congressional Migrant Workers Scholarship Program (CMWSP), both designed to provide educational opportunities for deserving and talented individuals.
The OWWA scholarship programs for the school year 2024-2025, namely the Education for Development Scholarship Program (EDSP) and the Congressional Migrant Workers Scholarship Program (CMWSP), stand as beacons of hope for the Filipino youth and their families. Education For Development Scholarship Program (EDSP)
- Total Slots: 1,600
General Qualifications:
Incoming 1st Year College:
- Child of an active OWWA member; or Sibling of a single or married but childless active OWWA member;
- Single;
- Not more than 21 years old;
- Grade 12 graduating student;
- GWA of 80% or its equivalent;
- International School Manila (ISM) Scholarship Program Is Now Open For Applications For SY 2024-2025!
2nd to 5th Year College:
- Single;
- Not more than 30 years old;
- With GWA not lower than 85% or its equivalent;
- Must have no failing grades;
- Must be enrolled in a Philippine-based college/university;
- Must submit academic of grade 11 in ANY of the following official documentary form:
- Form 137;
- Form 138; or Transcript of records

BENEFITS:
It provides a financial assistance with a maximum of Php60,000.00 per school year until the completion of the 4-5 years baccalaureate course.
Congressional Migrant Workers Scholarship Program (CMWSP
General Qualifications:
- Deserving Migrant Workers (active OFWs) who are not more than 45 years old;
- Children of active or inactive OFWs who are below 21 years old;
- GWA of 80% without failing grades or within 20% of graduating class for children of ofw and no failing grades if ofw;
- Annual Family gross income of $2,400.00 or P76,000.00;
- The Alternative Learning System passers under the Continuing Education Program – Accreditation and Equivalency (A&E) with an average of at least 85%or its equivalent as certified the DepEd Accredited Schools.
BENEFITS:
It provides a financial assistance with a maximum of Php60,000.00 per school year until the completion of 4-5 years baccalaureate course in any college/universities within the Philippines.
