As we all know, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) is a combination of many agencies and offices. One of which is the PhilSys Registry Office (PRO). Currently, they are on the call looking for individuals who are qualified to be members of the Pilot Registration of the National ID System.
They are on the hunt for the following job posts: Screeners, Data Encoders, and Registration Officers.

- Registration Officer I (Data Encoder)
- Registration Officer I (Screeners)
- Registration Officer III
We will be discussing each job post along with the responsibilities, qualifications, and corresponding salaries.
Moreover, we will also narrate how the procedure is for applicants interested on how to be members of the pilot registration operation.
Requirements and procedure
Just like any other job post, there would be required documentation applicants need to submit should they yearn to be members of the pilot registration. These requirements are:
- Duly accomplished:
- Photocopy of Proof of Civil Service Commission (CSC) and/or Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Eligibility, if any;
- Photocopy of Transcript of Records and Diploma;
- Photocopy of Certificate of Experience relevant to the position; and
- Photocopy of Certificate of Training.

How can interested applicants apply to be members of the pilot registration operations?
The procedure is simple—in fact, it is the same for all posts available. Applicants would be required to send in the required documentation along with the letter of application (including the specific position/title and salary).

Once done, they can send the application letter together with the requirements either via personal delivery/appearance or via courier addressed to the Undersecretary to the address we stated above.

Registration Officer I (Data Encoder)
- Monthly salary: Php18, 718.00
- Salary Grade (SG) 10
- Education: A bachelor's degree relevant to the job
- Experience: At least six (6) months of relevant experience
- Place of Assignment: Registration Center Management Division (RCMD)
- Eligibility: CS Eligibility (2nd level)
- No training required
Number of vacancies: 24
Responsibilities of Registration Officer I (Data Encoder)
- Capture demographics and biometrics data of the applicants
- To provide exceptional customer service to the applicants
- Maintain, deliver, and export daily captured data
- Give out daily report of number of captured registrants to Registration Officer III
- Perform basic troubleshooting and technical reports and issues to Officer III
- Maintain the defined operating standards as mandated by the PSA
- To approve compliance to processes that are approved
- Will serve as a data capture operator for Fixed Registration Centers and Mobile Registration Centers
- Keep and manage assigned registration stations and kits; and
- To perform other tasks and responsibilities that may be a supervisory directive
Registration Officer I (Screener)
- Monthly salary: Php18, 718.00
- Salary Grade (SG) 10
- Education: A bachelor's degree relevant to the job
- Experience: At least six (6) months of relevant experience
- Place of Assignment: Registration Center Management Division (RCMD)
- Eligibility: CS Eligibility (2nd level)
- No training required
Number of vacancies: 4
Responsibilities of Registration Officer I (Screener)
- To ensure that all applicants correctly fill-out the registration form
- They will serve as a screener for Fixed Registration Centers and Mobile Registration Centers
- To serve as a reliever in absence of a Registration Officer I (Data Capture Operator)
- Provide exceptional customer service to all the applicants
- Screen and approve documentary requirements
- Entertain public queries and address problems with regard to the registration process
- Assist immediate supervisors in preparations for administrative reports and communicatioms
- Keep and maintain all files like (reports, memoranda, correspondence, etc.)
Registration Officer III
- Monthly salary: Php38,085.00
- Salary Grade (SG) 18
- Education: A bachelor's degree relevant to the job
- Experience: At least one (1) year of experience and supervision
- Place of Assignment: Registration Center Management Division (RCMD)
- Eligibility: CS Eligibility (2nd level)
- At least eight (8) hours of supervisory training and management learning (within 5 years)
Number of vacancies: 12
Responsibilities of Registration Officer III
- Act as the Unit Supervisor (Mobile Registration Centers and Fixed Registration Centers)
- Serve as link in Reg. Center to the Central Office
- Manage assigned registration kits
- Oversee the team of Reg. Officer I and the operations in both Mobile and Fixed Registration Centers
- Conduct registration training, assessments, and evaluation for Reg. Officer I
- Answer complaints and queries of clients through letters, emails, phones, or walk-ins as regards the registration process
- Override biometrics exception of applicants
- Serve as resource person on PhilSys Registration Process
- Provide relevant updates and reports requested by the PhilSys Registry Office (PRO)
- Cascade updates and memos to Reg. Officer I
- Perform other tasks as a directive of supervisor/s
Deadline of submission of application
The deadline of the application submission is on August 23, 2019. Applications after the said date will no longer be entertained.
