In a previous post, we mentioned that the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has job postings in different areas in the country. This time around, the DSWD is looking for Administrative and Social Welfare Officers in Region XII and in Quezon City.
Just like what we have done, we will be giving you the full details you will need should you be interested in applying for the job post.
What are Administrative and Social Welfare Officers?
Administrative Officers act as the primary point of contact of all employees; they also manage and support queries and concerns of employees in their department. Apart from that, Administrative Officers are also tasked to prepare regular reports, organize company/organizational records, and manage the office's stocks.
Although it seems to be a tedious job, the compensation and the benefits of working with the DSWD would surely make up for it.

Social Welfare Officers, on the other hand, are primarily tasked to plan the delivery of the programs and social services of their unit. In addition to that, they are also responsible to conduct interviews, execute home visits, manage cases, counsel, and do jail visits only when necessary.
