Are their qualifications in applying for a post in the public sector?

Unlike the private sector which mostly looks for specific skills and experience, in the public sector, before you become eligible to apply for any type of post, you need to pass the Civil Service Exam (CSE) which is administered by the Civil Service Commission (CSC).

To give you a brief refresher, the Civil Service Exam can be either of the following: the traditional Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) or the modernized Computer Examination (CSC COMEX). We have a guide dedicated to bringing you information about everything you need to know in taking this assessment.

Other than this, the normal requirements would be asked from applicants and these would be:

  1. Updated curriculum vitae
  2. Transcript of Records (ToR)
  3. A copy of your diploma; and
  4. A copy of your Civil Service eligibility

Where can I get a copy of my civil service eligibility?

Right after the agency determines that you passed the assessment or not, you can then claim your Civil Service eligibility. The procedure is simple and it’s as follows:

  1. You’d have to fill out the Eligibility or Exam Records Request Form (EERF) and the Declaration Form (DF);
  2. Pay the Cashier and get a hold of the Official Receipt;
  3. Present the OR to the appropriate window and wait for it to be processed. It might ask for your signature so be ready with a pen;
  4. Lastly, you need to affix your signature on the release portion on the EERF or the copy.

NOTE: The EERF is available at the Eligibility Window. Alternatively, you can get a copy of it through the CSC website at www.csc.gov.ph.

Now that you know what the required documentation is, we will now be discussing the available jobs in the Pag-IBIG department.

As of the moment, Pag-IBIG is looking for people who can have the following roles as their professions:

  • Accounting or Loans Assistants;
  • Clerk or Office Administration Assistants (OAAs);
  • Graphic Artists;
  • IT Administrators;
  • Management Support Assistants;
  • Marketing Assistants and/or Customer Service Assistants; and
  • Technical Support Assistants

To cite the address of the main office, it can be located at: 18/F Petron MegaPlaza, 358, Sen. Gil Puyat Ave., Makati City.

Should you have other questions or if you want the complete breakdown of the available jobs in the agency, you can contact them by calling 422-3000 local 5019 or 5020.

They did not make a mention whether or not these are the only jobs or posts they’re looking for. If you require information about that, you can directly be in communication with them by contacting them through their customer service hotline.
