For the Academic Year (AY) 2024–2025, the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) has released the application requirements for the PUP College Entrance Test (PUPCET).
This exam will be the first in-person PUPCET offered by the institution following its cancellation due to the pandemic for the academic years 2021–2022, 2022–2023, and 2023–2024. Good luck to all future PUPCET takers!
What are the necessary documentary requirements?
PUP advised applicants to prepare the scanned, clear copies of the following items saved as JPEG (.jpg or .jpeg and file size is not more than 300 kilobytes) in your computer, USB or device before applying online:
- Your 2 x 2-inch colored photo with name tag (read photo guidelines);
- Your Grade 11 report card showing your complete name, LRN, and GWA for First Semester and GWA for Second Semester.
How to file your application?
Step 1: Visit PUP iApply and review the available data.
Step 2: Tap "Apply Now." This will direct you to PUP iApply.
Step 3: To create an account, click Register Here.
Step 4: After reading the service agreement, select "I have read." and then choose PUPCET to start the account creation process on the following page.
Step 5: Click Next after completing the prequalification questions to find out if you are eligible for PUPCET.
Step 6: Complete the form for registration. Enter or pick the necessary data in the form.
Step 7: To create an account and sign in again, click Submit.
Step 8: You will be redirected to the PUP iApply Applicant's page after successfully logging in, where you can finish your application and submit it for review by the University Admission and Registration Services.
Your ePermit is available for download and printing after your online application is complete. You must present this printed ePermit on the day of your scheduled examination.
After your application has been completed and approved, the university said you will be able to download and print your ePermit within 6 to 10 working days. The exam dates have not yet been released, though.
