If you are loving the idea of taking up an education path to work at the University of the Philippines, it might not be as easy as you think. Of course, you would have to have a degree in education or in the field/industry you are about to teach.
More so, you must have a good standpoint in terms of the field you are taking. Some schools even require their professors to have a Master's degree. On the other hand, schools that are "big time" would need a doctorate degree in order for you to be hired as a professor. However, we cannot be too sure and they might have exceptions. So, if you have inquiries on how you can become a professor at the University of the Philippines, you can access their website at https://www.up.edu.ph/. Alternatively, you can contact them at (632) 981-8500.
Now that you know how much admins, professors, and UP associates earn, are you enticed about it? Are you now looking forward to being an employee of one of the most prominent universities in the country?
Juan dela Cruz says
LOL you won't get the 27k as a whole. Remember UP is a government institution thus faculty are taxed and charged automatically before receiving their pay. The net is actually only 23k. So the higher the gross may seem, the larger the tax and the contribution to gsis becomes. so you'll be earning roughly 800 only per day.
JDC II says
Apart from the TAX deductions, all of the other deductions are preparation for the future, if you may. This system is similar even in the private employment, only that instead of GSIS, they have SSS.
