As you can see, the most basic pay you can get in the education field in U.P. is an instructor. In this profession, you will have the chance to earn a minimum of Php27,755.00 a month. If you look at it on a daily rate, it is an astounding Php1,261 a day! That’s enough to support yourself if you are just starting.   1. LOL you won’t get the 27k as a whole. Remember UP is a government institution thus faculty are taxed and charged automatically before receiving their pay. The net is actually only 23k. So the higher the gross may seem, the larger the tax and the contribution to gsis becomes. so you’ll be earning roughly 800 only per day.

    • Apart from the TAX deductions, all of the other deductions are preparation for the future, if you may. This system is similar even in the private employment, only that instead of GSIS, they have SSS.
