Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited, or more commonly known as Deloitte, announced that they will be needing more people in the next coming years. The world class firm, which has a Global Delivery Center in Taguig City, said that they will hire about 1,000 employees in the next five (5) years.
They said that the facility they have in Taguig City is the very first of its kind in Southeast Asia—which is quite difficult to undermine because it's quite obvious that they're putting their trust in our workers.

Uday Sreeram, the company's Managing Director, said that they yearn to employ people in different industries and types of work. Sreeram said that their globally-known tax advice and consulting solutions firm look to hire Information Technology (IT) Experts, Communication graduates, Engineers, and Designers.
Based on our research we found that there is an amazing talent pool here, good English-speaking and very passionate young workforce who want to go forward in their career."

Deloitte Office in Taguig City
Here in the country, Deloitte operations focus on technology that are given by the latest Deloitte Consulting PDC.
If you're unaware, the Deloitte office in Taguig City first opened in February and employed about 150 people, occupying two (2) floors. Within the next year, they plan on renting two (2) more floors to be able to accommodate their expansion plan to hire about 1,000 employees or the streamline of people who will be working for the company, said Sreeram.

The Philippines is an ideal location given the convenience in time zones since we will be, for the most part, servicing our clients’ businesses and operations in Asia Pacific. Most importantly, there is an abundance of young talent from the local universities that have the passion and ambition to develop a career in the global IT arena."
Since Deloitte will hire about 1,000 people, they need to have an appropriate expansion plan to allow more people and business to come in.
Sreeram said that Deloitte already partnered up with some recruitment agencies in the Philippines to look for experienced employees. More so, they tried communicating with different schools like the University of Santo Tomas (UST), the University of the Philippines (UP), and iAcademy for their University Alliance Program to be able to gain fresh graduates.

Deloitte Consulting LLP Principal and Global Delivery Network Leader Jeff Jordan, mentioned that they are looking to create a relevant investment, financially in the Philippines in the years to come. Although Jordan did not give hints on how much this investment would be, expanding its operations is a clue that they're banking on Filipino professionals to be able to carry out jobs for them.

We have committed around 700 (jobs) over a few years but I believe given the market where we are going, we could see thousand [by] 2024."
Sreeram also said that in the field of technology, Filipino IT professionals will be able to broadcast their skills and embrace the path that they chose.
