Pag-IBIG Members Can Now View and Pay Their Contributions Online!

Things are going a lot well with the home insurance government agency of the country. After the major news that broke out about the Pag-IBIG Home Development Mutual Fund (HDMF) will be increasing the contributions, the agency also announced that Pag-IBIG members will now be able to view and pay their contributions online!

Acmad Moti, Pag-IBIG Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and President said that through the Virtual Pag-IBIG facility, members will be given the opportunity to view and pay their contributions online.

Pag-IBIG Online Office

Moti said that this will serve as Pag-IBIG’s “online office” where members would be able to have a peak on the situation of their Pag-IBIG contributions as well as their loan payments payable to Pag-IBIG.

Members would also have the opportunity to pay their loans in the online office, too!

Makikita na natin lahat ng ating transaksiyon, makakabayad na tayo ng utang, kung gusto nating magdagdag ng kontribusyon kaya na natin gawin real-time, at magbayad nang real-time.”

In Translation: We’ll now be able to see all of our transactions; we’ll be capable of paying loans; if we want to add to our contributions – all of those we can now do real-time and we can pay in real-time, too.

How to activate the Pag-IBIG online office account

The steps are actually simple – it involves accessing the Pag-IBIG online website and yo just have to do the following:

1. Input the following information to register:
   • Pag-IBIG MID No:
   • Last Name
   • First Name
   • Middle Name
   • Date of Birth (DOB)
   • Contact Information (email address, mobile number)
2. Once done, your account will be activated and members can now choose to access the account.

Pag-IBIG Loyalty Cardholders

Meanwhile, Pag-IBIG members who have Pag-IBIG loyalty member cards automatically gets access to the Virtual Pag-IBIG. Those who have loyalty cards just need to proceed to the Virtual Pag-IBIG website and click the option that says “Log-in Via Your Loyalty Card Plus.” We’ve made it easier for you, just click on the link!

Apart from that, there also are other options on how you can register:

• Via the nearest Pag-IBIG branch from your location
• Registering as an Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW)

What is the Virtual Pag-IBIG for?

Sure, it does a great deal of benefits to Pag-IBIG members because they will be able to view and pay contributions online but what is it for mainly? Would this help other Pag-IBIG Fund members? Can this help in resolving the woes and penalties incurred due to late contribution payment by its members?

As per Moti, the Virtual Pag-IBIG facility aims to ensure that our OFWs would be able to settle their contributions. Even if they’re not in the country, OFWs will have the chance to pay their contributions at the correct time and date!

Online payments can be done through Pag-IBIG Fund’s online payment facility via PayMaya or via credit cards. So, Pag-IBIG Fund members can expect to pay contributions or to pay their loans off via the Virtual Pag-IBIG.

How about other Pag-IBIG Fund services

Currently, the agency said that they’re just focusing on the contribution payment scheme and the members’ ability to view contributions and their state with Pag-IBIG.

However, it was noted that the agency is also thinking about including the calamity loan or multi-purpose loan in the facility. As of now, members would just be allowed to view or pay their contributions online!

They’re also thinking about how they can process loans without the physical submission of documents and papers of Pag-IBIG fund members when it comes to housing loans – all of these are still in the parking lot but we can expect big greater things in the coming years.

The increase in the contribution has opened a lot of opportunities to Pag-IBIG Fund members. With the Virtual Pag-IBIG or the Pag-IBIG online office, members would be given a better chance of settling their obligations as well as seeing their contributions in just a few easy clicks.

Who knows? Maybe in the next few years, the agency can allow an overall system update and upgrade which would erase the need for Pag-IBIG Fund employees. The agency can be more effective, efficient, and they can have more services that can be done with just a few clicks!
