PhilSys Hiring 1300+ for Pilot Registration of National ID (UPDATE February 2020)

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) is currently in the process of hiring employees for the pilot registration of the National ID. The PhilSys Registry Office (PRO) is the branch of the PSA hiring and they’re currently in need of the following personnel:

  • Operations Coordinators (Registration Officer II, SG 14 – PhP 26,494 per month)
  • Supervisors (Registration Officer II, SG 14 – PhP 26,494 per month)
  • Data Encoders (Registration Officer I, SG 10 – PhP 18,718 per month)
  • Screeners (Administrative Assistant III, SG 9 – PhP 17,437 per month)
  • Administrative Assistants (SG 9 – PhP 17,437 per month)
  • Marshal/Crowd Controls (Administrative Aide IV, SG 4 – PhP 12,674 per month)

PSA Hiring for the Pilot Registration of the National ID

Branch of the Philippine government, the PSA, is looking to make sure that the pilot registration of the national ID is in its best and most efficient, and most effective states; that’s why they’re currently looking to hire a total of 1,308 vacant positions.

These employees would be under Contract of Service Workers (COSws) who will work as coordinators or organizers of the pilot registration.

The following are the job vacancies that are needed by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) in the upcoming Pilot Registration of the most-awaited National ID:

Contract of Service Workers

In the Join Circular that the CSC released, they defined Contract of Service (CoS) workers as the engagement of the services of “an individual, private firm, or other government agency, non-governmental agency, or the international organization as consultant, to undertake special projects or jobs within a specific period of time.”

Moreover, it discusses that the contract terms between the individual contractor and the agency should be at a maximum of one (1) calendar year.

What is the process on applying for any of the positions for the pilot registration?

All applicants who are interested in answering the call of the PSA are required to submit the following documentary requirements upon their appearance to the PSA office:

  1. Application letter stating the specific position title;
  2. Fully accomplished Personal Data Sheet (PDS) with recent passport-sized picture (Civil Service Form 212, Revised 2017) with Work Experience Sheet (refer to Guide on filling out Personal Data Sheet);
  3. Photocopy of Transcript of Records and Diploma;
  4. Photocopy of Proof of CSC/PRC Eligibility;
  5. Photocopy of Certificate of Training;
  6. Photocopy of Certificate of Experience relevant to the position

Important reminders

  • Upon your application, make sure that you pass all of the qualifications that the PSA is looking for. Failure to do so can result to the forfeiture of your application.
  • Ensure that all of the required documents that the PSA is looking for is complete to avoid going back and forth in the PSA office where you’ll be submitting your application.
  • The deadline is a deadline for a reason. Ensure that your submissions will be done on or before the deadline because the PSA might not consider your application if you fail to meet the deadline.
